I actually bought a new wooden spoon and cookies just for this review, lolol. The pictures looked better on my camera but not on my blog ;-; I want to take new pictures but I don't have cookies anymore, hahaha.

Can you guys see how Missha actually milking their collaboration with LINE Friends? Yeah, they know most people are a sucker for cute packaging and here they're releasing five different sunblocks with such a cute packaging ;-; so cute... OTL. However, I find the cap kind of cheap-looking tho.

Cute, cute, cute, cute... What else do I need to say? OTL. I really like the packaging for the cushion! I don't like yellow color so I ended up purchasing the Brown version instead of Sally version. The cushion has a matt finish so it's kinda gets dirty quite easily.

Overall, imo Missha did a very good job with the collaboration. I really like the packaging for this cushion! It's indeed very cute and it doesn't come off as cheap-looking either. The puff is just the most adorable puff ever! The cons for the packaging probably the same old how the puff is hard to clean and how it's not hygienic enough. Other con is probably how the packaging has a matt finishing so it gets dirty quite easily.

COVERAGE

It has a medium to high coverage that's build-able to certain extent. I was quite surprised with how high the coverage is. It's able to cover redness pretty well. The pore coverage is pretty good too.

.......

SCENT

When I use the cushion I didn't notice anything that strong but it has a nice scent. It's a kind of scent that you can smells from a Missha's foundation product. lol. It's a pleasant scent so I think those who have a sensitive nose wouldn't have to worry about it either.

INGREDIENTS LIST

The overall ingredients seems good with oils and extracts (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Bambusa Vulgaris Water, Cereus Grandiflorus (Cactus) Flower Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract) included. Can't believe how many oils and extracts they actually included for the cushion.

SHADE.COLOR

I got mine in No. 21 and Missha only offers two shades (No.21 and No.23) too however they come in two different finishes, matte and dewy. If you're a fan of a dewy finishes, you can purchase the Sally version instead of the Brown version. The No.21 shade is actually very light and it's even quite light on my skin. This one actually has a slight grey undertone and it doesn't oxidizes that well.

.......

TEXTURE.COSISTENCY.FORMULA

It has a very lightweight texture and has the consistency of water. The oil control is just so-so and I find my skin gets oily after around 2-3hour. The cushion mostly fades after 2-3 hours too. Only around 30-40% of the cushion can be seen after 2-3 hours and it doesn't fades nicely too. Tbh, I don't really like the formula. It doesn't give me an airbrushed finish like most cushions do too. I had a dry patch when I first tried this cushion and it did accentuate my dry patch. Not only that, I also feel like it emphasized my sebaceous filaments (to be exact) rather than covering it. It doesn't stay on skin that well neither.

.......

FINISHING LOOK.

lol.. I swear I don't want to post this picture.. My pores are looking bad lately after using the Primera Wild Peach Pore..

It has a semi-matte finish and it doesn't have that airbrushed finish like most cushion offers. It did accentuate my dry patch when I first tried it. The pore coverage is pretty good. The cushion can look cakey on me too.. Lol isn't it quite obvious from the picture above how it doesn't have a nice finish? ;^; my skin on close distance isn't that good either but from the picture I took above, after using the cushion I feel like my skin looks aged than before. lol.

WHAT DO I THINK?

While the packaging makes me happy, I'm not happy with the cushion foundation itself.. :( I honestly don't like the cushion foundation. It doesn't last long, doesn't fade nicely, oil control is just so-so and kinda highlights my sebaceous filaments. It doesn't have that airbrushed finish most cushions have too. The quality isn't that good for me, I say. At first I thought how it's great that it's cheap yet the packaging is still cute and even have 2 refills to boot but omg now I'm like how I'm going to finish the refills. Now I'm like "no wonder it's cheaper than most cushions and even have 2 refills", lol. I seriously want to to give the refills to my friends or make a super small giveaway for it, lol. I feel bad to say but the quality is the worst I've tried by far. Not sure if this is only to my skin but yeah that's how it performed on my skin. This cushion makes the Skinfood Vita Water Pore Fit Cushion Bottle like 99.999999999% better, lol. I find myself keep reaching the Vita Water Pore Fit Cushion whenever I want to go out but I just had to use this cushion for my review. haha. This cushion is still wearable however when there are better cushions out there, obviously I would want to use something with a better quality than this. I'm sorry but this cushion is all about the packaging for me. It has a great coverage but since it tend to look cakey plus it has that grey cast too so this cushion definitely not something I would like. I heard that most Missha's foundations tend to give people grey cast.. Now I feel like I need to stay away from their foundations after this. Imo, this isn't a nice cushion for combination or oily skin like me. Whew, there I thought this would be a positive review..

UPDATE : I tried using the cushion again when my skin condition is a lot better than before and the cushion isn't really that bad! The finishing look is good and it didn't highlight my sebaceous filaments anymore. However, the oil control is still just so-so.

CONS.

1. No airbrushed finish.
