Why Etude House keep releasing delicious products?! lol. First this modeling mask and then the bubble tea sleeping pack too. Just look at the name "Blueberry Smoothie", sounds delectable enough. Modeling mask wasn't really a thing before but I feel like it's really famous lately (well not really lately, more like last year?). Reviews for it on Youtube are like everywhere. I first tried modeling mask like way years ago and can't really remember how I felt probably because it didn't really leave much of impressions on me before and I can't remember being able to peel the mask either, lol. The idea of peeling the mask is what got me interested in trying modeling mask again so I decided to get all three of the Fresh Cup Modeling Mask.
Other available /flavors/ are Strawberry and Aloe Vera. Blueberry is a vitalizing modeling mask which contains blueberry extracts & collagen for nourishing, lifting and to create moist layer. Strawberry is a moist brightening modeling mask which contains strawberry extracts and Vitamin C. Aloe Vera on the other hand is a hydrating modeling mask which contains Aloe Vera extracts, Centella extracts to help strengthen moist barrier and soothing skin.

PACKAGING
Just like its name, it's stored in a plastic cup with Blueberry print on the top of the cup as one of the embellishments. Because it's a Blueberry Smoothie, Etude House uses blue as the main color.
Descriptions, directions and caution available on the cup. It's advised to use immediately after opening.
Etude doesn't forget to include the ingredients list on the cup too!
A diagram on how to use the modeling mask is available on the cup too.
and expiry date can be found on the bottom of the cup.
A spatula is included inside of the cup and I really like how the spatula is quite wide on the end so it's so much easier to mix the whole mixture evenly (even mine ended up with so much lumps because I mixed it with just one hand while the other hand was holding the camera, lol).
You probably can't see well from the above picture (lol) but there's a water level indicator on the cup too so you don't have to worry about how much water you should pour in.
Hiro who wants to be the model for this fresh cup.

SCENT
It really smells like a blueberry! It smells so good! It's a refreshing blueberry scent so the scent doesn't cause any discomfort at all. I feel like those with sensitive noses won't have any problem with the scent too :)

The top ingredients (Diatomaceous Earth, Glucose, Algin, Kaolin, Corn Starch, Calcium Sulfate) are ingredients that we usually could see included in modeling/rubber mask. Thought there is menthol in the ingredients list because I could feel a very obvious cooling sensation from the mask and I'm right! lol. There's menthol included indeed, no wonder it had this very obvious cooling sensation. *-*

TEXTURE.CONSISTENCY.FORMULA
This is how the powder look like, it reminds me of protein powder somehow, lol. The powder is finely milled.
Mixing it with water~
It does actually look like a smoothie somehow or probably more like cake batter, lol. So many lumps lolol it was hard to mix with the other hand holding the camera.
This is how it looks like on my face, with so many lumps on lol.
I actually wanted to share it with my mom but I didn't know she was taking shower during the time I'm mixing the mask so I ended up wasting more than half of the mask .___. It already hardened by the time my mom came out of shower.
This is how it looks like when being peeled.
I can see my pores @_____@
WHAT DO I THINK?
Omg, I really love it a lot! The obvious cooling sensation that I could feel the whole time I had this mask on was a really pleasant experience. It's really refreshing and calming. I really like the cooling sensation ;-; I feel like the cooling sensation is really good on helping minimizing the pores. It actually helped on clarifying my skin (especially the pores) too. To some people it might be a hassle to use this kind of mask because you've to mix it on your own, then apply it on your face and wait for 10-15 mins before being able to peel it but to me, it's something fun to do! lol. I really enjoy doing this kind of DIY stuffs. Idk if it's only me, but it's really fun when you're able to peel the mask too. lolol. My face felt smooth and somehow hydrated (not really moisturized tho) after using the mask. Even the after effects aren't something that long lasting (it's like using a sheet mask), I feel like it's still a nice treat to your skin. The only thing I feel like complaining is probably the amount? lol. I feel like it's too much for just one time use, so I prefer they sell in smaller quantity and cheaper price. I did apply it very very thickly yet I still have a lot of product left. Now, I can't wait to use the other two! I just purchased another modeling mask from another brand too, lol. It's the Ettang's Modeling Take-Out cup pack which was quite famous last year. I want to try the Lindsay's Rubber Modeling Mask too but maybe another time because I swear I spent too much this month, OTL.. Anyway, I think I fall in love with Modeling Mask! :D
PROS.
1. Affordable.
2. Cute packaging *O*
3. Smells good like a blueberry.
4. Obvious cooling sensation the whole time I had the mask on!
5. Smoother skin.
6. Hydrated skin.
7. Fun to use, lol.
8. Spatula included is actually useful.
9. Clarifying effect.
10. Pores appeared slightly smaller.
11. Refreshing and calming effect on skin.
12. Can I say just how much satisfying it is to be able to peel the mask?! Plus I could literally see my skin texture printed on the mask too, lol.

CONS.
1. Some people might find it's a hassle to use.
2. It could be a messy experience (I'm glad it was easy for me to apply, like no dripping and such)
3. Reduce the amount maybe? and make it cheaper for the reduced amount, lol.
✧ TIPS ~
1. Wear a headband because it's definitely going to be messy and it's for your face not your hair, lol.
2. Mix the mixture as fast as you can and apply it as soon as you can too for easier application.
3. Even if you've a big face, I still think applying all at the same time would be too much and might cause unnecessary dripping so transfer half of the powder to another container/bowl when you want to use and keep the other half in the same container to use it next time or just simply share it with your family or friend!
4. Don't forget to use a serum before using the mask!
5. Don't wash the residue, use a toner on a cotton pad to cleanse it instead.
I'm going to review the Strawberry and Aloe Vera version next too so stay tuned!
