Note : This isn't a food review, this is still a skincare review.

Hey guys! If you checked out my previous haul you probably already know that I purchased all three of the EH's Bubble Tea Sleeping Pack and today I've decided to review the green tea version first. Tbh, I didn't have much expectations from the sleeping pack and bought them purely because of the super adorable packaging. So after actually trying this sleeping pack out, have my opinions on it changed? Let's continue on the review to know then! :D

Other than Green Tea, there's Black Tea and Strawberry available too! Green Tea is to make your skin clear and clean, Black Tea is to make your skin glow and plump up and Strawberry is for healthy and dewy.

The sleeping pack is stored in this cute tiny plastic container that looks like a bubble tea cup! The cup is actually much more smaller than I thought. It's a clear plastic cup and the sleeping pack itself is actually green in color.

The cap. The good thing about the cap is you can place your "straw" (spoon/spatula) on it.

Tbh, as someone who always lose her spatula, I'm really thankful to Etude (lmao I actually typed Youtube instead of Etude just now, brain, what's wrong with you D:) for this brilliant idea.

Overall, I really like how adorable the packaging is and I think most people who bought it definitely because they are attracted to the packaging just like me, lol. I really like how you can attach the spatula on the cup too. The only thing I don't really like is how the bubbles are sitting on the bottom of the packaging so I've to dip the spatula deep inside to pick the bubbles then the spatula ended up picking a lot of the sleeping pack too.

.......

SCENT

It smells really really nice! It's fragranced but it's still subtle so imo those with sensitive noses won't have any problems with it too. I can't really tell what it smells like but it smells like my brother's perfume! lol. I've to ask him what perfume he's using..

.......

INGREDIENTS LIST

Alcohol Denat.. although this sleeping pack contains Alcohol Denat, because other emollient ingredients are also present in the formula, I feel like the Alcohol Denat won't be much of a problem. 1,3-propanediol is considered to be of low hazard to bodily health by the Cosmetics Database. The National Library of Medicine classifies this ingredient as a skin and eye irritant. There are no safety warnings for Hexanediol, 1,2-hexanediol (OSHA). However, it has been known to be an irritant in some cases, especially to the eyes. It can also cause dermatitis, although the Cosmetics Working Group offers no warnings for its use. Sodium Hyaluronate it helps your skin bring and absorb water more effectively. Dipropylene glycol has been shown to be of low toxicity, but to be an active irritant of the skin and the eye area. Pantenol has been shown to be a skin irritant. Sodium Polyacrylate is considered a moderate hazard ingredient, primarily due to contamination concerns. This ingredient can contain methacrylic acid, acrylic acid or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, known toxins that can be formed during its synthetic processing. It is also classified as "expected to be toxic or harmful" because of potential organ system toxicity effects, according to the Environmental Canada Domestic Substance List. Although Hydrogenated Lecithin has been given the GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) rating by the FDA, there are some concerns over its carcinogenic properties and its ability to penetrate the skin. Tromethamine is considered a low hazard ingredient. Ethylhexylglycerin is generally considered safe, it has been found to be an irritant to the skin in two studies, causing allergic contact dermatitis.

>> In short, TLDR;; most ingredients are known to help skin becomes smoother, softer and some are for anti-aging, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, soothing, moisturizing and anti-irritant properties, improve hydration, reduce itching also clarifying. Some ingredients are also potential irritants and low hazards. Green Tea, Chestnut, Lavender and Cocoa Seed extracts could be found on the ingredients list too which all of the extracts are rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory has cell-protecting function as well. They also have anti-wrinkle/skin firming effects.

The green tea is very gel-like and the bubble which I believe is made up from Agar is quite hard to rupture on the other hand. It's quite hard to mix the bubble together with the green tea gel. You'll have to use the included spatula to rupture the bubble but even with the spatula it's quite hard. Breaking the bubble and mix it with the gel definitely will take some of your time. Is it only me who thinks the gel kinda looks like green mucus? lol sorry not sorry.

Anyway, after you somehow managed to rupture the bubble, it still won't be completely mixed with the gel and you'll ended up with small chunks instead. I usually just slightly press the small chunks when I'm applying it onto my face to dissolve it.

WHAT DO I THINK?

Honestly my expectations for the sleeping pack are very very low from the very beginning so when I first tried it I was like "this is not that bad" because of my low expectations, lol but then as I continue using it, the results are just average indeed. I woke up with just a slightly softer skin however I feel like the claims which is Green Tea for clear and clean skin aren't that misleading at all. I do feel like I woke up with a slightly clearer and cleaner skin. This Green Tea Sleeping Pack definitely isn't for someone who's looking for something moisturizing (Strawberry or Black Tea seems like a better fit for dry skin) because it isn't moisturizing enough especially for those with normal to dry skin. I tried using two bubbles instead of one because it's said on the packaging that for better moisturizing effect, use two bubbles but I don't think there's any difference from using one or two bubbles, lol. As it's targeted for those who wants clear and clean skin, it's also supposed to help with enlarged pores and excessive oil so it's more suitable for oily to combination skin. Tbh, I don't notice much changes on my pores and on the oil control. I honestly don't recommend this sleeping pack that much and imo it's better to get something else instead of this but if the packaging is just too attractive to pass by, it's not hurt to try one albeit I strongly don't recommend to get three of them like what I did lol. Even the result is just average, I find it's still better than the Aritaum Fresh Power Essence Pouch Pack (reviewed here).

PROS.

1. Ultra cute packaging, lol.
2. The claims aren't that misleading at all.
3. Woke up with slightly softer skin.
4. Didn't break me out.
5. More suitable for oily to combination skin.
6. Most ingredients help skin becomes smoother, softer and are anti-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, clarifies, reduce itching, hydrates, soothes the skin.
7. Has a nice scent.

CONS.

1. Not moisturizing.
2. The bubble tea is hard to break and mix with the gel.
3. Some ingredients are low hazard, potential irritants, low toxicity.

Sorry but it's another unboxing post you guys! lol. There's still one more package left that I'm waiting to reach me and I promise that'll be the last package for the 5 upcoming months (maybe, lol).. I should be on a shopping ban for real though. Anyway, this time I bought some stuffs from Sephora and Major B. I'm glad this time the boxes for stuffs I bought from Sephora came in good condition. lol. I just hate it when my box is dented. I hope one day Sephora MY will invest on cardboard boxes so I don't have to worry about dented boxes anymore, haha.

MAJOR B

I didn't get much stuffs from Major B this time because honestly, I spent too much last month. //cries.. Saw this cute Etude House Cabinet but I couldn't find it on Gmarket or Etude House's official website.. I asked Major B if they could bring it in for me and they said it's limited edition so at first sadly they said that they couldn't help me.. But few days ago they suddenly mentioned me on their IG and I saw that they managed to bring in the cabinet to their store! I was really happy although I originally really wanted the pink one, haha. Now that I already have the mint one, I don't think I'll get the pink one though. Decided to grab the Son&Park Beauty Water because of so much rave on it. Heard that it smells really good? Hopefully my skin will like it!

what I bought.
I finally decided to invest some money on good brushes. My first brushes were the Etoinette Brush Collection from Etude House and tbh the quality wasn't that good lol. The brushes are pretty but I didn't like it much. I am a girl who only use a bb cushion and a lip product when going out so I don't use makeup brushes much but recently I want to try contouring products and use more makeups so I thought I need proper brushes. Hopefully I'll be using my brushes properly instead of letting them just sit on my vanity table lol. Bought the Skin Loving Vitamin Kit from Alpha-H too. I've been into Alpha-H products lately, haha. Because Moonshot's products are available on Sephora MY, I decided to give Moonshot latest cushion which is the Microfit Cushion a try. Sandara Park actually came to Malaysia recently to promote Moonshot. I wanted to go but honestly knowing that a lot of people would be there, I made a good decision by staying home (if it was GD who came instead, I'm most likely "was there!" and took like 9128381 photos, HAHA). lol.

unboxing, etude house, etude, sephora, major b, major-b, son&park, son and park, son and park beauty water, son&park beauty water, sigma brushes, sigma, sigma mr bunny essential kit, alpha-h, alpha h, moonshot, moonshot microfit cushion, mary-lou manizer, the balm cosmetics, the balm cosmetics mary-lou manizer

Picked these up as free sample and monthly special. Received the Alpha-H Liquid Gold Anti-Ageing Cleanser as the premium free sample and Balancing Cleanser With Aloe Vera 15ml for purchasing any Alpha-H's products. I picked up the Mary-Lou Manizer for the monthly special.

This is really really tiny so it's seriously very cute! haha.

That's all for today's unboxing! I can't wait to fill in my mini cabinet from Etude House! haha. I'm still thinking on what to put inside. I've been thinking to put Winner's Jinwoo with a pink hair picture (sorry Taehyun lol) on my mini cabinet but too bad I can't use my printer anymore, OTL. I'm looking forward to try the Son&Park Beauty Water and Moonshot's Microfit Cushion too!

What do you guys think of the Etude House's Cabinet? Have you tried the highly raved Son&Park Beauty Water? Out of topic but any of you watching Half Moon Friends too? haha. Do leave me a comment below to let me know! Thank you for reading & have a nice day!

Hi guys! This will be a short post on my experience purchasing Pony's products from Memebox. This is actually the first time I'm purchasing from Memebox but it's not like I directly purchased from them because sadly they don't ship to Malaysia :( I got my Pony Effect's items from Memebox through Gmarket and I'm really glad that Memebox is actually on Gmarket too. I wish Memebox will put more products on their Gmarket or they will ship internationally too. I was really excited when I received my package from Gmarket because of Pony Effect

Just look at the purple box with PONY EFFECT printed on it! It's just so pretty, lol.

Pony Effect, memebox, Pony x memebox, ettang, ettang modeling take-out cup pack, modeling mask, modeling pack, rubber mask, pony, unboxing, pony effect seoul, makeups, makeup, make up, eyeshadows, foundation, powder pact, masks

My items come in ziplock bags with Pony Effect once again printed on it.. I swear even the ziplock is pretty that I want to keep it. lol.

LOL even the tape has Pony Effect on it.. The items were properly wrapped with bubble wrap!

and these are what I bought! I got the Powder Pact and the Contouring Master Palette! If these two are good, I think I'll invest more on God Pony's products! Just look at the packagings for Pony's products, I swear they're just too pretty to just look at ;-; MUST BUY. lol. As expected from God Pony. lolol. Pony's magnetic brushes are so pretty (they looks just like Rae Morris' brushes but prettier :x) and I wanted to get it tbh but I'm not sure about the quality so yeah I decided to pass on it. Wanted to get the Everlasting Cushion Foundation but it seems a bit bulky due to the shape lol. The Outfit Velvet Lipstick and Conceptual Eyes Quad are definitely gorgeous but too bad I'm broke and I went a lil bit overboard with shopping last month. :x  I just bought the Outfit Velvet Lipstick & Conceptual Eyes Quad too! OTL. Well in short, I just want to get the whole collection if I can, lol

& as I told in my previous review, I actually bought a set of modeling mask! lolol. I'm addicted to modeling mask *-* The packaging is seriously cute! I bought it from Healthhub (here) and the guy working there actually delivered it personally to my house! lol. I wasn't at home that time but my cousin was there so I already told her in advance to help pick up the mask for me instead. She told me how he said post office will be close tomorrow plus he's nearby so he decided to deliver it personally so I could receive it faster, haha. It's really nice to get the item fast! Anyway, can't wait to try these masks out!

{ REVIEW } Etude House Fresh Cup Blueberry Smoothie Modeling Mask

Etude House Fresh Cup Blueberry Smoothie Modeling Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Etude House, Review, Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Modeling Mask, Rubber Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup, Etude House Modeling Mask, Strawberry, Blueberry, Aloe Vera

Why Etude House keep releasing delicious products?! lol. First this modeling mask and then the bubble tea sleeping pack too. Just look at the name "Blueberry Smoothie", sounds delectable enough. Modeling mask wasn't really a thing before but I feel like it's really famous lately (well not really lately, more like last year?). Reviews for it on Youtube are like everywhere. I first tried modeling mask like way years ago and can't really remember how I felt probably because it didn't really leave much of impressions on me before and I can't remember being able to peel the mask either, lol. The idea of peeling the mask is what got me interested in trying modeling mask again so I decided to get all three of the Fresh Cup Modeling Mask.

Other available /flavors/ are Strawberry and Aloe VeraBlueberry is a vitalizing modeling mask which contains blueberry extracts & collagen for nourishing, lifting and to create moist layer. Strawberry is a moist brightening modeling mask which contains strawberry extracts and Vitamin C. Aloe Vera on the other hand is a hydrating modeling mask which contains Aloe Vera extracts, Centella extracts to help strengthen moist barrier and soothing skin.

PACKAGING

Etude House Fresh Cup Blueberry Smoothie Modeling Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Etude House, Review, Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Modeling Mask, Rubber Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup, Etude House Modeling Mask, Strawberry, Blueberry, Aloe Vera

Just like its name, it's stored in a plastic cup with Blueberry print on the top of the cup as one of the embellishments. Because it's a Blueberry Smoothie, Etude House uses blue as the main color.

Descriptions, directions and caution available on the cup. It's advised to use immediately after opening.

Etude doesn't forget to include the ingredients list on the cup too!

A diagram on how to use the modeling mask is available on the cup too.

and expiry date can be found on the bottom of the cup.

A spatula is included inside of the cup and I really like how the spatula is quite wide on the end so it's so much easier to mix the whole mixture evenly (even mine ended up with so much lumps because I mixed it with just one hand while the other hand was holding the camera, lol).

You probably can't see well from the above picture (lol) but there's a water level indicator on the cup too so you don't have to worry about how much water you should pour in.

Etude House Fresh Cup Blueberry Smoothie Modeling Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Etude House, Review, Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Modeling Mask, Rubber Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup, Etude House Modeling Mask, Strawberry, Blueberry, Aloe Vera

Hiro who wants to be the model for this fresh cup.

Tbh, the content is a bit too much for just one use and I rather keep some to be used another time. I'm glad that the cup comes with a plastic cap so I can still keep some in the same container. Overall, I don't think I've any complains with the packaging. It's so cute and it reminds me of a bubble tea cup, lol.

.......

SCENT

It really smells like a blueberry! It smells so good! It's a refreshing blueberry scent so the scent doesn't cause any discomfort at all. I feel like those with sensitive noses won't have any problem with the scent too :)

.......

INGREDIENTS LIST

Diatomaceous Earth, Glucose, Algin, Kaolin, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Calcium Sulfate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate, Calcium Carbonate, CI 77007, Menthol, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract (1oppm), Hydrolyzed Collagen(10ppm)

**click on the each ingredients above to read more about them

The top ingredients (Diatomaceous Earth, Glucose, Algin, Kaolin, Corn Starch, Calcium Sulfate) are ingredients that we usually could see included in modeling/rubber mask. Thought there is menthol in the ingredients list because I could feel a very obvious cooling sensation from the mask and I'm right! lol. There's menthol included indeed, no wonder it had this very obvious cooling sensation. *-*

.......

TEXTURE.CONSISTENCY.FORMULA

This is how the powder look like, it reminds me of protein powder somehow, lol. The powder is finely milled.

Etude House Fresh Cup Blueberry Smoothie Modeling Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Etude House, Review, Fresh Cup Modeling Mask, Modeling Mask, Rubber Mask, Etude House Fresh Cup, Etude House Modeling Mask, Strawberry, Blueberry, Aloe Vera

Mixing it with water~

It does actually look like a smoothie somehow or probably more like cake batter, lol. So many lumps lolol it was hard to mix with the other hand holding the camera.

This is how it looks like on my face, with so many lumps on lol.

I actually wanted to share it with my mom but I didn't know she was taking shower during the time I'm mixing the mask so I ended up wasting more than half of the mask .___. It already hardened by the time my mom came out of shower.

This is how it looks like when being peeled.
I can see my pores @_____@

WHAT DO I THINK?

Omg, I really love it a lot! The obvious cooling sensation that I could feel the whole time I had this mask on was a really pleasant experience. It's really refreshing and calming. I really like the cooling sensation ;-;  I feel like the cooling sensation is really good on helping minimizing the pores. It actually helped on clarifying my skin (especially the pores) too. To some people it might be a hassle to use this kind of mask because you've to mix it on your own, then apply it on your face and wait for 10-15 mins before being able to peel it but to me, it's something fun to do! lol. I really enjoy doing this kind of DIY stuffs. Idk if it's only me, but it's really fun when you're able to peel the mask too. lolol. My face felt smooth and somehow hydrated (not really moisturized tho) after using the mask. Even the after effects aren't something that long lasting (it's like using a sheet mask), I feel like it's still a nice treat to your skin. The only thing I feel like complaining is probably the amount? lol. I feel like it's too much for just one time use, so I prefer they sell in smaller quantity and cheaper price. I did apply it very very thickly yet I still have a lot of product left. Now, I can't wait to use the other two! I just purchased another modeling mask from another brand too, lol. It's the Ettang's Modeling Take-Out cup pack which was quite famous last year. I want to try the Lindsay's Rubber Modeling Mask too but maybe another time because I swear I spent too much this month, OTL.. Anyway, I think I fall in love with Modeling Mask! :D

PROS.

1. Affordable.
2. Cute packaging *O*
3. Smells good like a blueberry.
4. Obvious cooling sensation the whole time I had the mask on!
5. Smoother skin.
6. Hydrated skin.
7. Fun to use, lol.
8. Spatula included is actually useful.
9. Clarifying effect.
10. Pores appeared slightly smaller.
11. Refreshing and calming effect on skin.
12. Can I say just how much satisfying it is to be able to peel the mask?! Plus I could literally see my skin texture printed on the mask too, lol.

CONS.

1. Some people might find it's a hassle to use.
2. It could be a messy experience (I'm glad it was easy for me to apply, like no dripping and such)
3. Reduce the amount maybe? and make it cheaper for the reduced amount, lol.

TIPS ~
1. Wear a headband because it's definitely going to be messy and it's for your face not your hair, lol.
2. Mix the mixture as fast as you can and apply it as soon as you can too for easier application.
3. Even if you've a big face, I still think applying all at the same time would be too much and might cause unnecessary dripping so transfer half of the powder to another container/bowl when you want to use and keep the other half in the same container to use it next time or just simply share it with your family or friend!

4. Don't forget to use a serum before using the mask!
5. Don't wash the residue, use a toner on a cotton pad to cleanse it instead.
