{ REVIEW } Percy&Reed Hair's Best Friend Super Soft Conditioner

Hey guys! I'm back with another review but again, it's not the Missha LINE cushion, lol. I'll review it next for real! haha. It's scorching hot in my country lately that there were several heatstroke cases reported in certain places. I hope the hot weather won't last long especially in Perak and Kedah. It was quite hot in my place too but I'm glad it actually rained quite heavily yesterday in my place. If you guys are currently residing in Malaysia, make sure to limit your outdoor exposure and reduce any strenuous activities! I'm sick now too, OTL. Coughing nonstop is really painful and sleeping with stuffy nose definitely isn't something pleasant too. It's a good thing that I'm recovering now.

Going back to the review, today I'll be reviewing a hair conditioner by Percy & Reed called Hair's Best Friend Super Soft Conditioner. This is my first time trying out their products and I decided to purchase this conditioner, their No Oil Oil for Fine Hair and their TLC Hydrating Mask.

PACKAGING

I only took one picture for the box when I usually take pictures for all sides for the box because the box is dented lol. Blame Sephora for not using box when sending items to their online customers =_=

Anyway, you've this "Goodbye despair; hello to beautiful soft, silky hair!" all over two sides of the box and there are descriptions, directions, salon secret also ingredients list on the back of the box same just like on the back of the tube. 

You can find descriptions, directions and even salon secret on the back of the tube! The ingredients list could be find on the back of the tube as well.  

It comes in a 200ml white plastic tube with a drawing of a girl with long soft looking hair as the embellishment. The design of the packaging is very simple and as a minimalist myself, I find the packaging adorable.

It's sealed to indicate it's still a new product and to prevent any unwanted leaking during shipment. 

I actually like their packaging a lot. They're all very simple yet adorable probably because of their logo for Percy&Reed and the girl drawings printed on their products. I really like their logo somehow, haha.

SCENT

My mom disapprove the scent, lol. She dislike it and told me how it gave her headache. I, on the other hand don't mind the scent. It's quite strongly fragranced indeed and you can even find the Parfum on top of the ingredients list. All of Percy&Reed products I've tried have the same scent. I'm not good at explaining scent.. OTL.. It has artificial scent and the scent still lingers on my hair even after washing the conditioner away. Those with sensitive noses might need to think twice before purchasing.

INGREDIENTS LIST

Seeing the ingredients list, notable ingredients such as Behentrimonium Chloride, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Vitis ViniferaGrape Seed Oil are to help detangles, conditions, softens, fights static and helps strengthen the hair. Cetyl Esters on the other hand can help tone down the frizz for some people HOWEVER it might cause a build-up. I don't really have any problem with the Cetyl Esters however it's listed quite high on the ingredients list so if you've build-up problem with Cetyl Esters, this conditioner definitely not for you. Isopropyl Alcohol is spotted however it's probably there to help dissolve the Behentrimonium Chloride. Polyquaternium-37 might help improve volume in hair however it has a low build-up potential too. This conditioner is 100% sulphate free. I'm not that familiar with ingredients for hair but seeing the ingredient listed on the back of the bottle, this is not a conditioner for someone who get build-up easily from certain ingredients.

RESULTS? WHAT ARE MY OPINIONS?

It does help my hair becomes much more manageable. My hair also feels softer and looks shinier. No more frizzy hair however I feel like it's just slightly better than conditioners from drugstore brands over here. I feel like the previous conditioner (I can't remember the brand, it was a saloon brand OTL) I used before when my hair was quite badly damaged from bleaching and styling is even better. Tbh, I'm not sure of repurchasing this conditioner. I don't really like this conditioner however I am liking their TLC Hydrating Mask and the No Oil Oil. :)

PROS. 

1. Hair becomes manageable.

2. Softer hair.

3. Shinier hair.

4. No more frizzy hair.

5. Good ingredients included. 

6. 100% Sulphate free.

CONS. 

1. The scent might be too strong and artificial for some people.
2. Not that affordable.
3. Some ingredients might cause build-up for some people.
4. The results just mediocre for me.

{ REVIEW } Skinfood Let's Milky Milk Facial Bubble Cleanser

Sorry guys for being MIA for about 10 days or more. I've been very busy lately due to my upcoming business. I don't think many of you know but I'm planning to launch my own mystery box soon. Honestly thought it's going to be easy but as predicted nothing is easy in this world especially to be successful. I'm actually free at night but have been back to gaming world again for a lil bit, lol. I said I would review Missha's LINE Cushion next but I haven't used it much so I'm so sorry that I can't review it yet. Going back to the review, today I'm going to review another Let's cleansing line product from Skinfood. 

In case you missed my review previously, there are total of five products of the Let's Cleansing line. Let's Fresh for Yogurt, Let's Milky for Milk and Let's Mousse for Cheese. Let's Milky Milk on the other hand is available in three types which are the cleansing foam, bubble cleanser and lastly a hand cleanser. DESCRIPTIONS | A bubble cleanser with a fine whipped texture to gently remove impurities and excess keratin for a smooth, nourished complexion.

PACKAGING

This bubble cleanser comes in a cute white bottle with some baby blue on it probably to indicate the milk. It's quite chubby in size but that's what makes it cute! haha. 

The design is very simple and straight-forward yet it's still very adorable! The bottle is made up from sturdy plastic so it's okay if you accidentally drop it.

The pump! It's pretty easy to pump the cleanser out and so far I've no problem pumping the cleanser out.

For Let's cleansing line from Skinfood, I honestly prefer the bubble cleanser pump packaging more than the tube packaging because if you already read my review for the Cheese and Yogurt cleansers before you already know that I have problem on controlling the amount of cleanser I want to use because of the tube. The bottle for this bubble cleanser is really cute too! I like how it's white and baby blue in colors. The only con is it's not that travel-friendly due to its bulky size.

SCENT

You know why I usually like products with Milk in it? Because mostly they'll have a baby powder scent and I just adore baby scent a lot! This one too has a faint baby scent and I really like the scent. The scent is not too strong and it's very subtle so imo those with sensitive nose still find it bearable too.

Tbvh, I'm very surprised to see the ingredients list! Didn't expect it the ingredients to be this good. I'm also tbh a lil bit surprised to see water as the first ingredient too, lol. From what I can see, skinfood promotes this cleanser for a smooth complexion and it seems like it's true based from the ingredients they're using such as the Milk Protein Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract. This cleanser is suitable for those who has troubled skin or oily/combination skin. The ingredients they're using are mostly great ingredients however very few number of it are low to moderate hazard and potential irritant.

TEXTURE.CONSISTENCY.FORMULA

Have you guys tried the Hada Labo Tamagohada AHA/BHA Exfoliating Face Wash Foam? It resembles the Hada Labo's foam a lot but it's slightly thicker. It's definitely not like Etude House Wonder Pore Whipping Foam because that one is more like a shaving cream. The bubble is really light and it's really gentle on the skin. It cleanses my skin well without leaving any tightness  afterwards. It's a perfect cleanser when you're not using any make-ups and just to get rid of dirt and dust/grime and extra sebums.

CLEANSING TEST

Two different eyeliners, eyeshadow and lip tints.

Foundation stick. 

You can tell from my pictures above that it cleanses well. It managed to remove my makeups quite easily however need to work a lil bit to remove foundation, eyeliner, lip tint and mascara(and it might leaves some residue sometimes). For a cleanser, I would say it already does a sufficient job.

WHAT'S MY OPINION?

I totally prefer this one more than the Yogurt and Cheese I reviewed before because it's slightly more moisturizing, the ingredients might help troubled skin and the bubble texture definitely much more gentle on skin. The ingredients they are using in this cleanser are overall great too. I don't feel like repurchasing the Yogurt and Cheese but I do feel like repurchasing this one but that's just probably because I'm a sucker for a bubble cleanser, lol. 

PROS. 

1. Bubble texture gentle on skin. 

2. Great ingredients suitable for troubled skin and oily/combination skin. 

3. Cute packaging! 

4. Quite moisturizing. 

5. Subtle baby scent!

6. Cleanses well for a cleanser.

CONS. 

1. I can't really think of any possible cons right now, hm.. Probably just it's not travel-friendly because of the bulky size? 

2. Few number of the ingredients are low to moderate hazard and potential irritant.

✧✧ Do you guys like Milk as one of the ingredients of your skincare? For me, I like it because I know most products with Milk in it tend to have a nice baby powder scent and I just adore baby scent a lot. haha.

{ REVIEW } Missha X LINE Friends Eye Color Studio Mini | Brown Brownie

Cony Pink isn't the only palette for their Missha X LINE Friends Collection. If you're not a fan of pink palette, there's this Brown Brownie palette which just like its name, is a brown palette. As I mentioned in my last review for Cony Pink, this palette too is suitable for daily look however I find this palette is slightly more pigmented than the Cony Pink. If you missed my previous review, you can check it out here. Last time I checked both of the palettes are still available on Koreadepart but now they're already sold out again, lol. They're not available anymore on RoseRoseShop either. If you're residing in Malaysia, Major B still have few stocks left so you have to be hurry if you're interested to purchase. Missha sure knows how to do business. Why? Because check this out ;

I can't believe they actually released more products featuring LINE Friends! Oh god, too cute. I swear I want them all! lol. They added a new blusher, jelly tint and a dual blending cushion eyeshadow. They sure know that their LINE Friends collection sells like hotcakes so now they added more products for us! Yay for more products but nay for money flying out of wallet. ;-;

PACKAGING

For the pink cushion we have Cony and for the brown cushion we have who? who else if not BROWN! haha. Do I need to say more for the packaging? Just look at it oozing with cuteness. The palette actually is pretty sturdy and it doesn't come off as cheap-looking. 

It comes in a box. The names of the shades are available on the back of the box but they're in Korean and there's no English descriptions at all. 

 On the back of the palette there's expiry date. 

It just screams "CUTENESS!" to me, lol. 

The dual-ended applicator is included inside and look Brown is on the plastic film too!

Missha's logo printed on the applicator but tbh it's very easy for the logo to be erased because mine already half gone even just after one use, lol.

Brown is embossed on the eyeshadow too! OTL.. I feel really bad to use it. I'm using it sparingly indeed.

Those who like LINE Friends definitely would adore the packaging albeit some people might find the packaging childish. I do find the packaging a lil bit childish too but I'm still liking it nevertheless!

TEXTURE

Most of the texture are soft and smooth - however there is a bit of fallout but lesser than Cony Pink. Matte shade, Brown Friend Cony is a bit powdery too.

COLORS.SHADES.SWATCHES

If Cony Pink comes with 4 different shades of Pink, this Brown Brownie comes in 4 different shades of Brown. The pigmentation I would say more pigmented comparing to the Cony Pink.

Please note that I didn't use any eyeshadow primers underneath for my swatches pictures in this review.

Timid Brown : (shimmer) warm brown with orange undertones
is a shimmer light-medium brown with warm undertones. Great color payoff and smooth application. Can cause a tiny bit of fallout.

Pure Brown : (Glitters) rich chocolate warm brown

is a dark chocolate brown with warm undertones. The color payoff is great, while the consistency is fairly smooth, and blendable. Can cause a little bit of fallout.

Heart Attack Brown : (shimmer) warm brown with strong red undertones

is a shimmer warm brown with red undertones. This shade is one flattering shade. Second shade after Pure Brown for having a great color payoff. Applies smoothly and buttery.

Brown Friend Cony : (Matte) light brown with warm peachy-orange tones
is a matte light brown with warm peachy-orange tones. A bit powdery but it's quite finely milled so it applies smoothly without being patchy.

 MY OPINIONS?

I actually like this palette better than Cony Pink! There's lesser of fallout and the eyeshadows are more pigmented too! This palette is suitable both for daily look or dramatic look. The shades are very pretty! I can see myself using this palette a lot. 

FINISHING LOOKS.

Eyes half closed so can't really see upper falsies.. OTL

You can either achieve bold and dramatic look or (sorry tbh I'm not really good at make-ups ;-;)

PROS.

1. The packaging is very enticing. 

2. Compact and travel-friendly packaging. 

3. Most of the textures are soft and smooth.

4. Mirror and dual-ended sponge applicator is included. 

5. For those who loves LINE Friends & Brown! 

6. For those who adores brown palette! 

7. Good staying power (around 5 hours the eyeshadows mostly still can be seen) 

8. Doesn't crease. 

9. For both natural daily look and dramatic look.

10. Better pigmentation than Cony Pink.

CONS.

1. There's a bit of fallout but not really that substandard.

2. If you're a glitters fan, the glitters might be not enough for you.
